Whisked Away by Science: Muffin Edition - Billings (Grades K-5)
In this hands-on baking experience, Girl Scouts will partner with the Montana State University Extension Office to explore the science behind baking. Participants will mix, measure, and bake muffins from scratch while learning how baking powder helps muffins rise, why accurate measurements matter, and how science plays a role in everyday cooking.
Girls will also use their senses—sight, smell, and taste—to evaluate their baked goods, ending the class with a fun and delicious taste test. All participants will receive a fun patch to commemorate the experience.
Registration for this event is $11 per girl and closes on April 20th.
After April 20th, your program registration is non-refundable.
