The Art of Belonging - Billings (Grades 6-12)

Join GSMW for an exciting art experience just for Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts at the Yellowstone Art Museum.  The adventure begins with a private tour of the museum’s newest exhibition, Threads - a stunning collection of collages, assemblages, textiles, eco-prints, and weavings created by nine Montana women who balance life as artists, mothers, and art teachers.

After exploring the exhibit, museum educators will guide participants in creating their own artwork inspired by what they’ve seen. When the guided portion concludes, girls are welcome to continue exploring the museum on their own.

All materials are provided by the museum, and each Girl Scout will receive a fun patch for participating!

This event is open exclusively to Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts. Parents are welcome to register and observe, but GSMW does not require adult attendance.

Registration for this event is $8 per girl and closes on January 5th.
After January 5th, your program registration is non-refundable.
