Outdoor Journey in a Day - Great Falls (Grades K-5)

GSMW welcomes all Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts to our exciting annual Journey in a Day program.  This year, Girl Scouts will work toward their Outdoor Journey badges!

In this program, girls will explore nature through hands-on activities, from learning essential camping skills to identifying Leave-No-Trace principles. They'll work together on fun projects like creating outdoor art and mini first aid kits while learning essentials of outdoor first aid.

The program includes interactive games, teamwork challenges, and nature-themed crafts that make outdoor learning both educational and enjoyable. By the end of the program, girls will earn their badges and gain a deeper appreciation for the great outdoors!  

Adult registrants will get to enjoy the festivities with us!  Adults will also serve as volunteers, helping all Girl Scouts succeed during the program.

The program registration fee does not include the Outdoor Journey badges for your participant’s grade level.  Through doubleknot registration, participants can add the purchase of all Outdoor Journey badges for their child's grade level.  

Daisies can add the purchase of all three of their badges for $10.50:

Brownies can add the purchase of all four of their badges for $14.00:

• First Aid
• Hiker
• Cabin Camper
• Take Action

Juniors can add the purchase of all four of their badges for $14.00:

• Camper
• Eco Camper
• Animal Habitats
• Take Action

If you purchase the entire set through program registration, GSMW staff will give them to you at the program.  If you would rather purchase individual badges, you can purchase them from the online store, or call our store at  406-252-0488, and they will deliver to your preferred shipping address.

Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors will all need to complete Take Action Projects after the program in order to earn all of the Outdoor Journey badges.  Brownies and Juniors must go camping sometime during the year to achieve their Outdoor Journey goals.

Registration for this event is $13 per girl and closes on October 20th.
After October 20th, your program registration is non-refundable.
