Meet Poblano, the Black-Footed Ferret! - Billings (Grades K-12)

Get ready for a wild experience at ZooMontana! Girls will discover one of North America’s most endangered mammals as they learn what makes black-footed ferrets unique, the role they play in the ecosystem, and why conservation matters.

Girls will create a fun black-footed ferret craft, explore these fascinating animals and their habitat, and learn how people are working to protect them. Then comes the best part: they’ll meet Poblano, ZooMontana’s resident black-footed ferret, and get an up-close look at this amazing animal.

Girls will also discover what it takes to care for a black-footed ferret and have the opportunity to ask questions about Poblano. Come ready to create, discover, and get wild with Poblano!

Registration for this event is $10 per girl and closes on September 21.
After September 21, your program registration is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a program that you are registered for, please email GSMW as soon as possible. Program fees are non-refundable unless GSMW receives written cancellation notice BEFORE the registration deadline. Participants that do not show up for a program will forfeit the registration fee. If a program is cancelled by council, all program fees will be refunded within 4-6 weeks. Program Registration FAQ
