Global Action Award in a Day - Kalispell (Grades K-5)

The Global Action Award is one of the most meaningful and exciting badges a Girl Scout can earn. It connects girls with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and shows how their choices and actions can make the world healthier, safer, and more sustainable. By exploring these important issues and working side by side, Girl Scouts discover that they can be powerful changemakers who help create a brighter future for everyone.

In this interactive program, girls will explore the United Nations SDGs through dynamic games, lively discussions, and creative crafts that spark imagination and action. Along the way, they will complete all the steps to earn and proudly receive the Global Action Award badge.  

New this year, the Global Action Award is an optional prerequisite for Juniors working toward their Bronze Award!  This is the last year for Daisies and Brownies to earn this notable award.

Snacks and creative take-home crafts are included. GSMW will ask participants to bring junk mail, old magazines, and a donation of small toiletry items.  Member adults are encouraged to register as helpers, especially for Daisies.  Please no tag-a-longs at this event.

Registration for this event is $13 per girl and closes on November 1st.
After November 1st, your program registration is non-refundable.
