Global Action Award in a Day - Gillette (Grades 6-12)

The Global Action Award is one of the most meaningful and exciting badges a Girl Scout can earn. It connects girls with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and shows how their choices and actions can make the world healthier, safer, and more sustainable. By exploring these important issues and working side by side, Girl Scouts discover that they can be powerful changemakers who help create a brighter future for everyone.

In this interactive program, Girl Scouts will discover how responsible consumption and production can make a positive difference worldwide. Through hands-on activities and discussions, they’ll explore how everyday choices impact the planet, discover creative ways to reduce waste, and learn how communities around the globe are working toward sustainability. By the end of the program, girls will take meaningful action and be on their way to earning their Global Action Award!

Snacks and creative take-home crafts are included. Member adults are encouraged to register as helpers.  Please no tag-a-longs at this event.

Registration for this event is $13 per girl and closes on October 31st.
After October 31st, your program registration is non-refundable.
