Girl Scouts Love State Parks - Frenchtown (Grades K-12)
Every year, thousands of Girl Scouts explore the natural wonders found across our country during the Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend. Girl Scouts nationwide and their friends and families celebrate our shared love of the outdoors.
Join GSMW at scenic Frenchtown Pond State Park and enjoy a beautiful morning fishing for bass, perch, and hatchery trout on the 18-acre pond. With a focus on water, fish, and fisheries management, this program offers Girl Scouts valuable skills for a lifetime of outdoor angling. No prior fishing experience or license is needed, and GSMW will provide the equipment.
Girl Scouts' friends, family, and troops are all welcome to register and join the fun. Be sure to register everyone so we can prepare for the right number of participants.
Each Girl Scout must be accompanied by a registered adult participant. Troops should meet required adult-to-girl ratios. Registered child participants will receive a fun patch.
Registration for this event is $8 per girl and closes on August 29th.
After August 29th, your program registration is non-refundable.
