Girl Scouts Love State Parks - Helena (Grades K-12)

Every year, thousands of Girl Scouts explore the natural wonders found across our country during the Girl Scouts Love State Parks weekend. Girl Scouts nationwide and their friends and families celebrate our shared love of the outdoors.

Spring Meadow Lake State Park may only be 61 acres, but it is still full of adventure and history!  As one of only two State Parks in the Helena area, the park includes a man-made lake that was once the site of a gravel factory.

This year, participants are invited to join The Montana Discovery Foundation to learn about outdoor restoration at Spring Meadow Lake State Park. With the help of Montana Discovery, everyone will learn about the importance of restoration and Leave No Trace Principles.  And through the myriad of activity stations, participants will also explore and learn about safe outdoor recreation.

Child participants will receive a 2024 Girl Scout Love State Park patch, and GSMW will provide a snack.  Pack your lunch and join us!

Registration for this event is $8 per girl and closes on August 29th.
After August 29th, your program registration is non-refundable.
