Camporee - Outdoor Journey - Casper (Grades 6-12)

GSMW invites all Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts to join us at Camporee 2024 to earn their Outdoor Journey Badges! Camporee 2024 will be held at Camp Sacajawea on Casper Mountain!

During this program, girls will explore nature through hands-on activities, from learning and teaching essential camping skills to practicing Leave-No-Trace principles. They'll work together on teamwork challenges, nature-themed outdoor art and interactive activities with younger girls to fulfill their badge requirements and gain a deeper appreciation for the great outdoors!

To fulfill badge requirements, Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts will spend each night camping in a primitive setting. Please expect potentially cool weather, but know that we will have plenty of opportunities for activities that will warm us up!

Program registration does NOT include the Outdoor Journey badges for participants, these can be purchased as an add-on during the program registration process.

Cadettes can purchase these four badges for $14.00:

Seniors can purchase these four badges for $14.00:

• Adventurer
• First Aid
• Adventure Camper
• Take Action

Ambassadors can purchase these four badges for $14.00:

• Outdoor Art Master
• Water
• Survival Camper
• Take Action

If you purchase the entire badge set through program registration, GSMW staff will give them to you at the program.  If you would rather purchase individual badges, you can purchase them from the online store, or call our store at  406-252-0488, and they will deliver to your preferred shipping address.

Registered participants will receive all meals from Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast. Adult registrants will serve as volunteers, helping all Girl Scouts succeed during the program. Girl Scouts may attend individually or with a troop group, and MUST have at least one adult accompanying the individual or group.

Registration for this event is $50 per girl and closes on October 20th.
After October 20th, your program registration is non-refundable.
