Girl Scouts Love State Parks: Sinks Canyon - Lander (Grades K-12)

Across the country, Girl Scouts are building skills and making lasting memories as they discover the beauty, history, and adventure waiting in their state parks. Venture outside with GSMW, and join this nationwide Girl Scout movement!

This year at Sinks Canyon State Park, Girl Scouts and their guests will join a park ranger for a guided hike to discover the fascinating plants that call the canyon home. Along the trail, participants will learn how native plants support wildlife, adapt to their environment, and help keep the park's ecosystem healthy.

Girl Scouts will sharpen their observation skills, record their discoveries in a take home nature journal, and enjoy exploring one of Wyoming's most beautiful state parks. Each Girl Scout will receive a Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch, a nature journal, and a snack.

All participating girls will receive a Girl Scouts Love State Parks patch. Girl Scouts and their parents are invited to this special event!

Don't forget about GSUSA's Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors Challenge. Attend this program and you'll earn points toward the annual fun patch. 

Registration for this event is $8 per girl and closes on August 30th.
After August 30th, your program registration is non-refundable.
