Girl Scouts 110th Anniversary Celebration - Cheyenne (Grades K-12 & Adults)
Put on your party hat, pack-up your troop camping supplies, and join GSMW as we enjoy a weekend celebrating 110 years of Girl Scouting!
One-hundred and ten years ago, on March 12, 1912, founder Juliette Gordon Low gathered 18 girls who all shared a sense of curiosity and a belief that they could do anything. Juliette, also known as “Daisy”, encouraged girls to embrace their unique strengths and create their own opportunities. Since then, Girl Scouts around the world have embraced the mission and values of Girl Scouting, making the world a better place for 110 years.
This celebratory birthday weekend will include a variety of activities focused on the outdoors, arts & crafts, STEM, life skills, and more. Participants are encouraged to camp out Saturday, so be sure to bring a tent and all camping supplies!
Festivities will begin on Saturday and families and troops will get to participate in dozens of activities and stations that will include:
- Archery
- Treasure Hunting
- Orienteering
- STEM
- Leave No Trace
- Crafting
- Community Service
- Star Gazing
- And MUCH MORE!
Participants will tent camp, so please bring your own camping equipment. Lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday, but plan to bring your group's breakfasts for Sunday morning. All registered participants will receive a commemorative 110th anniversary patch. Please email customercare@gsmw.org if you need camping gear as we have a limited supply.
