Buzz, Bloom, Grow - Hudson (Grades K-5)

Get ready to dig in and discover the buzz about pollinators! Girl Scouts will meet with a Sweetwater Gardens expert to explore the magic of greenhouses and learn which flowers and plants make the perfect pit stop for bees, butterflies, and other helpful pollinators.

Then, it’s time to get our hands dirty! Girls will plant flowers to help grow a pollinator garden, build a bee watering station, and create their own decorated seed envelope. They’ll fill it with pollinator-friendly flower seeds to take home and plant their own little pollinator paradise!

After all that growing and creating, we’ll refuel with a provided lunch. Every Girl Scout will also take home a fun patch to remember her day of digging, planting, and helping pollinators!

Registration for this event is $5 per girl and closes on September 28th.
