Black Footed Ferret Exploration - Meeteetse (Grades K-12)

Discover one of Wyoming’s most remarkable native animals through this interactive, ferret-themed experience. 

Participants will take part in creative activities, explore prairie habitats, and enjoy a special up-close encounter with Hoopla the ferret from the National Black-footed Ferret Conservation Center. 

This engaging program offers a meaningful mix of discovery, creativity, and outdoor adventure while introducing the importance of wildlife conservation.

This event is made possible through a partnership between GSMW, the Meeteetse Museum, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Prairie Wildlife Research, and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, bringing a unique educational opportunity to Meeteetse, WY.

Registration is limited, so early sign-up is encouraged.

Registration for this event is $5 per person and closes on July 3rd.
After July 3rd, your program registration is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a program that you are registered for, please email GSMW as soon as possible. Program fees are non-refundable unless GSMW receives written cancellation notice BEFORE the registration deadline. Participants that do not show up for a program will forfeit the registration fee.
