DESCRIPTION:Community Day - Gillette (Grades K-12) \n  \n  \n From the sweeping plains to the rolling hills and mountains, into the bustling cities of our great council, this June, Girl Scouts, their friends, and their families will gather to create positive change in their communities during our annual Community Day events.  This year’s events will take place over one week starting on National Trails Day, June 1st, and ending on June 8th.  Community Day events are open to Girl Scouts of all ages, their friends, and their families.    \n  \n  \n In Gillette, we will gather together to help clean-up the dog park that is enjoyed by residents and visitors. We will pick-up garbage, perform "dog duty", and make pet toys.  Bring clean, old T-shirts to make dog toys to take home or to leave for resident dogs to enjoy. \n  \n  \n GSMW will provide work gloves.  If you have any dog poop scoopers, those may come in handy. All participants will get water, a snack, and a custom GSMW Community Day sticker.  Girl Scouts will also receive a fun patch. \n  \n  \n Non-Girl Scout friends, siblings, and tagalongs are welcome to participate, but spots are limited.  Adult registrants will serve as chaperones during the program. \n  \n  \n If our GSMW-sponsored events don’t work with your group’s schedule, use the Community Day Independent Group Form to share your project overview and participant numbers and to purchase patches and stickers.  \n  \n  \n Registration for this event is $5 per girl and closes on May 19th. \n  \n After May 19th, your program registration is non-refundable. \n  \n  \n Current Program Capacity \n
