Junior Trail Adventure Series - Laramie/Centennial/Cheyenne (Grades 4-5)
Join other Daisy, Brownie, Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts for an all-new Summer Trail Adventure Series! Girls will earn their Trail Adventure Badges as they explore trails in the Pole Mountain and Snowy Range Areas of the Medicine Bow National Forest.
Girls will learn about appropriate gear and how to be prepared. They will also become familiar with hiking lingo and Leave No Trace basics. Juniors need to attend three hikes to earn their Trail Adventure Badge, but we would love to see you on all of the hikes!

- July 13, 2022 – Naturalist Hike @ Curt Gowdy
- July 20, 2022 – Cookout Hike @ Pole Mountain Area
- July 27, 2022 – Distance Challenge Hike @ Snowy Range Area
- August 17, 2022 - Medicine Bow Peak Summit Hike @ Snowy Range Area
NOTE: Juniors need to have an accompanying adult/leader on this hike. This optional hike is challenging and vigorous at high altitude.
Girls will need to come prepared with appropriate footwear, day hiking gear, and a trail lunch for most hikes. GSMW will email details in the confirmation email sent closer to the date of this hike.
All girl participants MUST be registered members of Girl Scouts. Girls can join the fun of Girl Scouts at any time! Adults may register for free. Families can join their girl on this adventure, but snacks and materials will not be provided for anyone other than the registered Girl Scouts. Siblings under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
GSMW will follow national and regional COVID guidelines.
Registration for this event is $35 per girl and closes on June 20th.
After June 20th, your program registration is non-refundable.
